Instead of the usual foggy streets and industrial horror, we’re getting 1960s Japan, schoolgirls, and a terrifying floral infection.

• The trailer introduces a mysterious spreading vegetation, which seems to infect the world and people.
• The atmosphere leans more toward Japanese horror films rather than classic Silent Hill.
• Instead of the familiar nightmare, the game embraces body horror that blends beauty with decay.

It’s unclear how closely the game will tie into the main Silent Hill series, but fans are already split—some love the fresh approach, while others are unsure about the drastic shift.

Silent Hill f is set to release in 2025 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
